Formed in the Summer of 2007, the Gainesville Community Jazz Band is a 17 piece jazz band that plays a wide range of big band styles such as traditional swing, dance, latin, and contemporary jazz. The members of the GCJB represent different career fields such as band directors, banking specialists, and church ministry. The musicians have a deep passion for jazz and a commitment to presenting quality performances to the Gainesville area. The band has performed for retirement centers, the local Juneteenth festival, and some of the area schools.

Trunk or Treat

The GCJB will be performing this Sunday at Grace UMC of Fort Clarke's Trunk or Treat. This is a kid friendly event with lots of candy. We will perform around 5:30. Come check it out.
